At the beginning of the New Year, on 22nd January, 2018, a chilly winter day came as usual. However, the Cheng Shisong family from Dianqian Village, Dianqian Town, Yuexi County felt the warm sunshine in winter. On this special day, the expressway was closed to traffic because of heavy fog. Therefore, it took Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli over four hours to arrive at the target of aid in the Poverty Alleviation Program--the Cheng Shisong family. Also in company was Mr. Xu Haihong, Vice Chairman of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Trade Union.
　　To be specific, President Madam Huang Wenli sent the underprivileged family two brand new down jackets, talked with Cheng Shisong, inquired after his health, understood the living conditions in his family, introduced our national poverty alleviation policies to him as well as helped him plan next year’s prosperity achievement programs. More remarkably, Madam President specially cared about his children’s education status which she carefully asked about. Moreover, President Madam Huang Wenli stressed that she would try her utmost to help Cheng Shisong if he needed anything. Cheng Shisong expressed that Madam President offered him selfless help, which further enhanced his confidence in casting off poverty to become better off.
